Angie Lloyd-Jones brings over 35 years of clinical ultrasound expertise, beginning her career as a Diagnostic Radiographer in the late 1980s and specialising in ultrasound from the early 1990s. She has led ultrasound service development and training across NHS hospitals and universities, shaping the next generation of sonographers. Transitioning into veterinary ultrasound, she recognised and addressed the training gap for first-opinion vets in the UK. In 2022, she co-authored the BMUS Small Animal Veterinary Guidelines, now globally endorsed. Angie’s continued leadership bridges medical and veterinary fields, driving high standards in ultrasound education and practice.
