Nicola Jones, COO - Powdr
Nicola started off her career in banking, chasing the money and dream sold after studying maths at university. Quickly she realized it wasn't for her and turned her attention instead to areas she was naturally drawn to; process, efficiency and organisation. After a short stint in lean and six sigma roles she moved to BT, initially in a customer experience role, then slowly moving into more tech focussed roles, ultimately ending in leading the Mobile Business Transformation team. Nicola & Joe (the now husband she met many moons ago at the bank) decided to start Powdr, and after meeting Steve and completing our trio of skills we kicked off it's development as the founding team 4 years ago. Since then she has taken up the role of COO at Powdr, from process design, to QA, recruiting to sales and customer management she now (as every founder knows) does a bit of whatever is needed, however never loosing that focus for customers and making things seamless and easy!
