With a curiosity as to how things work and taking them apart since childhood and a strong interest in foreign languages brought me to study for a master’s in economics at University of Rostock, Germany. Putting my passion into practice, I worked for twenty years in various industry sectors in France and the UK in international business development, which evolved into consultancy work. I then went to work for RTC North to deliver the Innovate UK Business Growth service still with a focus on internationalisation through Enterprise Europe Network, supporting innovation-led SMEs in the North to grow and scale. When not doing that, I enjoy working in my allotment, going to the gym, and crafting.
