Dr. Amin Akhavan Tabassi - Manchester Metropolitan University
Dr. Amin A Tabassi is a highly accomplished senior lecturer at the Business School of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and currently serves as the Head of the MSc Project Management Programme. Prior to joining MMU, he held the position of Associate Professor specializing in Project Management at Universiti Sains Malaysia. With a Ph.D. degree in Project Management, Amin possesses a strong educational background, complemented by a graduate degree in Project Management and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. He has accumulated over 16 years of extensive experience in engineering and project management. Amin's dedication to professional development is exemplified by his attainment of the globally recognized PMP credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2013.
Amin's research interests encompass various areas within project management, including leadership, conflict management, human resource management and development, teamwork, and sustainability. His contributions to academia are evident through his publications. Amin has also led four research projects focused on topics relevant to leadership, conflict management, and challenges faced by project managers in the construction industry. Furthermore, he has been involved in three Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects, offering supervision and academic support.
